Dr. Kathrine Tavakoli is a licensed Naturopathic doctor. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a bachelor’s degree in science. She completed her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Kathrine believes in patient-centred and results-driven medical care, where beauty is a major component. She’s been actively practicing for over a decade.

Since graduation, she has spent most of her time pursuing the ideals of beauty and health as a combined panacea for all her patients. She has trained with Dr. Alibhai, and holds certificates in Cosmetic and Therapeutic Botox, Dermal Fillers, PRP, PRF and Advanced IV Therapy.

She’s been a member of the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She currently lives on the North Shore with her husband and children. She enjoys the lush greens and nature trails that our wonderful province has to offer.

Jen is the manager of both MD/cosmetic Port Moody and Abbotsford. She brings 10 years of management experience with her and has over 22 years of experience working in the cosmetic industry. Jen considers herself to be a leader in 5-star customer service and it is her mission to ensure you receive nothing less. Jen maintains a healthy work life balance and enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2 children. Jen is a genuine and compassionate person and truly believes that no matter what “Good karma rules the world”. Jen greets our patients with a warm and friendly smile ensuring that you are truly comfortable with your treatment plans and arrangements. As our manager, Jen is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinic and for ensuring that every patient receives outstanding care. She is passionate about the medical aesthetic industry and is very excited to be a part of the MD/cosmetic family.

Tanya, our Assistant Manager at MD Cosmetic Port Moody, comes to us with over 24 years of management experience – 18 years of that being in the retail beauty industry, where she honed her leadership skills in diverse settings. Leveraging this extensive managerial background, she brings a blend of strategic vision and operational expertise to optimize team performance and client satisfaction.

Her dedication to precision and efficiency led her to delve into project management, amassing 6 years of expertise in orchestrating successful initiatives. Tanya’s commitment to professional growth culminated in earning a Project Manager Certificate from Simon Fraser University, enhancing her ability to navigate complex projects seamlessly.

Tanya thrives on combining her beauty industry proficiency, managerial acumen, and project management skills to drive exceptional outcomes. Her approach centers on fostering collaborative environments, implementing innovative strategies, and delivering high-quality service that exceeds expectations.

In her spare time, she loves hiking, running, and spending time with her family.

Stacey Marchewka has over 16 years of experience in customer service and 14 years in the beauty industry predominately as a hairdresser. Stacey is a Licensed Aesthetician and Makeup Artist. She attended school at a US Junior College where she received her Cosmetology License. She trained with some of the top hairdressers in the world and worked at the most prestigious salon in Denver, Colorado. Her portfolio of hair, makeup, and weddings earned her invaluable experience in the beauty industry. Stacey has a bubbly and energetic personality and will always greet you with an infectious smile and a plethora of knowledge of MD/cosmetic’s products and services.

Niki has 8 years of customer service experience and takes pride in providing a warm & positive experience for every patient. Striving to have the most possible knowledge about the industry, she goes above and beyond to help everyone in any way she can. Outside of work, Niki enjoys spending time with friends, learning new recipes & staying active.
